Andre Laurent and Kali Philippa were introduced to each other, and informed that they would be working together. Dr. Laurent to work on the genetic disease affecting many of the Chrysalis agents, starting with Starks sun Terrance, and Kali to make sure he didn't get himself into trouble. Unfortunately, neither got along with the other after this initial meeting, death threats already issued before they had even gotten out of the elevator.

On the other side of things, Lucrezia De Vere brought information to Marcus Than about the location of his sister Mariona, as she was with Pertov, a man that many wanted dead, and had asked Lucrezia to kill, though she'd decided not to take the job. Marcus took the information to Arnaud, and told him he was going out to get his sister. Arnaud wouldn't agree to it until after it was decided that Lucrezia would go with him to Tijuana. They left immediately, 'discussing' things on the way, and discovering that they didn't exactly get along.

October 2002

Marcus and Lucrezia both made it to Tijuana international airport (both alive strangely enough) and found Pertov with Marcus' sister talking in the terminal. Lucrezia went to take care of the bodyguard, and Marcus when into the bar that Pertov and his sister entered to wait for his opportunity.

Back at the compound, Garrett  Thompson met with Arnaud, informing him that he had enough blackmail to burry him. Arnaud reluctantly agreed to employ Garett, but at a small amount of pay, as he couldn't change the fact that he didn't have any money. He also informed Garrett of how he had sent both Marcus and Lucrezia out, if only to see which would come back alive, and he'd treat Garrett no more than he treated them.

November 2002

At the Tijuana Airport Lucrezia went to take care of Pertov's bodyguard while Marcus went after his sister, but before Marcus could make a move, the situation was complicate by one, Eadoin Madden. He had come to sell information to Pertov, and wasn't very quiet about his 'intentions' towards Mariona either. While Eadoin and she were involved in a strange negotiation of sorts, Marcus made his move, killing Pertov, and almost going after Eadoin.

Instead, Eadoin told Marcus that he was of much more use to him alive, and that he really didn't have time for another kill or body. They met back up with Lucrezia and headed for the parking garage. However, Mariona was less than willing. She saw her brother more as an idiot than anything else, and wanted to stay and take her chances with the police.

Marcus was not going to allow this to pass, and forced her to come with them. Because they wouldn't all fit into Lucrezia's car, Marcus and Mariona took Luce's care, while she went in Eadoin's to keep an eye on the man.

In Luce's car, Marcus and Mariona spent most the ride arguing over what had happened, while in Eadoin's car something more productive went on. Luce offered to pay him for all the information he had on Mariona, and he accepted. 

About halfway through the car trip, Lucrezia had to take over. Eadoin had sustained two large cuts while at the airport from the Than Siblings, and was barley managing to stay conscious. They finally arrived at Arnauds' compound, and proceeded into the building.

Meanwhile, Arnaud and Garrett had reached a point where both had drawn their guns on each other, and were stuck in a stand off situation unitl something changed.

And back on the Chrysalis side of things, Kali and Andre reached his lab for his things, which resulted in even more threats, and insults thrown back and forth between the pair. Kali said something that cause Andre to use one of the worst insults he could have against her, and she slapped him, offer yet another threat.
